This Time Next Year
wayfinding | interior graphics | illustration
Leyton’s new coworking space opened its doors in March 2018. Everything about the space at This Time Next Year is designed to help its members get inspired, get creative and get productive. We working closely with our client, Ciara and the interiors team to develop wayfinding signage and graphics around the space. We also brought in 5 illustrators to work with us to create bespoke wallpapers and handpainted illustration throughout the building, even spilling the creativity out onto the pavement outside.
A top team
Our team of illustrators include local sign painter superhero Mia Warner who is single handily painting windows and shops signs across East London. Nick Wakeling of Impulse Prints braved an incredibly cold week to hand paint the windows and outside footpath in time for opening with his distinctive pattern style. Araki Koman brought her beautiful hand–drawn black and white images to both the first and third floors. We even got two of our Rowdy team on board – Halley Anne took over a wall on the first floor and Georgia brought her hand–drawn type to the the top floor and meeting room tables.
“Rowdy hit the ground running on all fronts and from day one, they brought energy and enthusiasm to the project that never waned. It was clear to me from the first Name Generation meeting that they grasped the ambition I had for the business. I strongly feel we wouldn’t have brought the brand or space to the position we are now, had it not been for the fresh and innovative thinking of Rowdy. They have been a pleasure to work with and I have no doubt this is only the start of what will hopefully be a very exciting journey.”
