When the opportunity came to help bring Clerys back to life, our Irish cohort jumped at the chance. Proud winners of the pitch, Rowdy was appointed the lead agency for brand development of this iconic building. Our role was to breathe life into the new vision for Clerys and set the tone for its future as a key destination at the heart of Dublin.

The new Clerys Quarter will bring together office space (The Earl Building & Clerys Building), retail (Clerys), food & beverage (Earl Place Market) and hospitality (The Clery Hotel and Clerys Rooftop Bar. We have been working across all aspects in a phased approach to the opening in late 2020.

Dublin’s Flagship Store

First opened in 1853, The Clerys Building has long been known as a shopping centre and a meeting point for Dubliners and beyond. The new redevelopment will see the building extended to house office space across the middle floors and a rooftop bar and restaurant. Alongside the new Earl Place Market and The Earl Building, the renamed Clerys Quarter will be home to a boutique hotel and the restored Clerys tearooms.

To help establish the new direction for Clerys Retail, we created a classic, contemporary identity that hints at its heritage, whilst helping to effectively market the space to secure key tenants.

Bringing it online

The new website is a mixture of editorial content and the practical information needed to advertise the space, such as building specifications and location. The site is one of a series of sub–sites housed under Clerys Quarter.

By working with individual subsites, we are able to promote each individual offer and help letting agents direct potential tenants to the relevant areas of the development.
