Just Pure food…
Same promise, fresh packaging

Working closely with founder John McGovern, we designed and developed The Pure Kitchen brand from the name right through to the identity rollout across packaging and a new website. Last summer, they were accepted into Super Value Ireland’s accelerator programme. Having helped them develop the packaging for the pitch we continued working together through all phases of the programme. The first phase covered the initial 12 week run on the shelves, and due to the sales success and popularity, they have remained in store. Taking feedback from the initial run we integrated comments into the recipes, portions sizes and key messaging. 

The Pure Kitchen reflects a promise to customers to provide healthy but tasty meals that are free from dairy, gluten and wheat, with no added sugar – or guilt! This is reflected in the over all clean design and emphasised with bespoke hand–drawn illustrations. The illustrations were developed both in–house and with Liam O’Farrell and add more depth to the brand visuals and to reflect the care and attention that goes into each meal. 

As part of the project we overhauled the website, improved the meal delivery process and offering. We developed a bespoke ordering system allowing customers to build their own meal bundles or choose from set menu packs and gift bundles.  As the brand continues to grown and receive more investment, we’re excited to see what the next stages will bring.
