Rowdy was appointed by the Outreach and Engagement Team for Houses of Parliament to build a strategic framework around Your UK Parliament – a new public engagement programme that would reach and connect people to Parliament. 

The annual UK Parliament Week was the biggest initiative as part of the programme, but was struggling to attract and build a following. We were brought on board to increase awareness, partners and participants. We identified the key challenges they faced in engaging with the public and helped them develop a visual language, tone of voice and key messages that would humanise their communications, making them more accessible to a broader demographic.

UK Parliament represents and speaks for the public across all aspects of everyday life. We created a new strapline Engage. Explore. Empower. to reflect the aims of the programme and create a structure under which events can be organised and promoted.

A new theme each year

Each year, we support the internal Marketing team to develop the theme for the year. For 2017, we developed the creative for stands used in Portcullis House and Westminster Hall. For 2018, we responded to the struggle for equal votes through the EqualiTeas event at the start of the year, and the as part of UK Parliament Week 2018. Watch this space for more events.
